joanna sheen cd robin christmas card

Hi its me AGAIN

Blogging twice in a week shock horror.  Just have a huge pile of cards prepared so it seems a waste not to use them.  This was such a simple card to make but its one of my fav un cutie xmas cards.  The main image and the holly backing paper is from the excellent joanna sheen JNM cd.  Tried to remember the design tips from mel heaton and used the ribbon across the card where i wanted to draw the eye to look.  I use to never attempt to matt and layer a circle but practise makes perfect and i matted this free hand as i didnt have a die the right size. the strip of red card has been embossed threw the grand calibur.  Finished off with a cheats faux bow and the bells were from last years xmas crackers lol waste not wont not.  Hope you like it xxx

up to my ears in glitter and mirri board ! must be christmas

This card was made using a 8 ins square card blank, gold star mirror card and elements from the Humphrey's corner CD ROM by crafters companion.  I used a topper from the card companions section and then choose some coordinating backing papers to matt and layer the card.  I never start with a layout my cards always seem to evolve which i was never sure was the correct way to do it but having seen one of the crafting masters say the same on c and c i am glad to say i am not the only one lol.  It is true to say my craft room looks like i have been burgled once the card is finished but at least i have had fun and i am usually pleased with the result although not always.  The finishing touch was added with a peel off with the word brother on it mattered and layed again to give the card dimension and a sentiment from the CD to also add balance to the card.  I also added a matching insert with suitable verse and ta dar! finished hope you like it.will try to fit another blog in soon (now i am a celebrity has finished i seem to have gained more time!)

craft artist scrap book page

hi Guys,

This is a scrap book artist page i made tonight whilst watching emmerdale wow look at me multi tasking.  The page is of my 14 year old daughter she went to a photo shoot with her friends last week and they where such lovely photos they inspired me to play! Its the first time i had made the background paper using one of the photo's it was really easy. Did struggle to use the photo editing part to remove the glare off her glasses though so took that into my own photo editing programme.  Was a bit surprised that the photographer didn't do that before sending us the photos but hey ho got there in the end. Have a good weekend one and all.

blogging

Hi

Hope this is working ok its my first blog and to be quiet honest its all going over the top of my head at the minute! lol . Anyway i made this card a few months ago using popcorn the bear cd by CRAFTERS COMPANION and of course spellbinders. I love cd crafting as i have everything i need without taking over the entire house with craft stuff (well thats the theory).  It was made for my son for his girlfriends birthday. I have been crafting in one way or other since i was small everything from cross stitch to painting to card making to scrap booking and tend to swap and change between them as the mood takes me.
